CHS in Greece in collaboration with the Municipality of Nafplio and the Municipality’s Cultural Organization (DOPPAT), launched in 2015 a creative writing workshop. The workshop was coordinated by Stratis Haviaras and Marty Lambrou. Haviaras was an author and teacher, the former curator of the Woodberry Poetry Room and founder of the quarterly Erato (which subsequently became The Harvard Book Review and still later The Harvard Review). Lambrou is a novelist.

CHS hosted a two-day scientific workshop on current developments in obesity and diabetes. The workshop was organized by Christos Mantzoros, a native of Nafplio and Professor of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Harvard Medical School. The event was held in collaboration with the Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens and the CHS.
