About the Center for Hellenic Studies in Greece
The Center for Hellenic Studies in Greece (CHS Greece) is a Harvard international office that unites the humanistic pursuits of the metropolitan CHS in Washington, DC (CHS US), with the homeland of Hellenism.
The Center has been transformed over the years from a CHS branch office offering classics-oriented academic support to an interdisciplinary hub for Harvard University abroad, achieving a unique intellectual and cultural identity and fostering collaboration between researchers and students worldwide.
Housed since 2008 in the historic Iatrou building, formerly home to the Municipality of Nafplio, CHS Greece is the first international office of the University to be certified as a Green Office.
