CHS Greece, extending the activities and humanistic pursuits of the Center for Hellenic Studies in Washington, DC, fosters a growing community of researchers, academics, and other experts, who represent diverse social, educational, cultural, and professional backgrounds and come together to support its operation and outreach.

Affiliates collaborate on a wide range of initiatives organized and supported by CHS Greece, addressed to various groups of students, faculty, researchers, and the wider public, contributing their expertise to enrich the Center's work. They receive an appointment for specific academic years, which includes, among other provisions:

  • The title of CHS affiliate for the duration of the appointment.
  • Remote access to Harvard's online libraries and resources.
  • Opportunities to participate in the Center's activities and collaborative initiatives.

Affiliates may:

  • Serve on committees consisting of academics and other experts that advise on program development and strategy.
  • Μentor or collaborate with CHS fellows.
  • Support the organization and implementation of existing activities.
  • Contribute to the development of new activities and collaborations.
  • Represent CHS Greece in academic and professional settings.

Our team of affiliates includes both current affiliates, who are actively engaged in CHS Greece initiatives, and past affiliates, whose contributions continue to shape the Center's impact.
