Logo of CHS Greece

CHS Greece logo.

The logo of CHS Greece was designed to underscore the Center's origins and its multidimensional identity, bringing together Harvard, CHS US and Hellenism in one place. It has an oval shape and writes on the upper hemisphere of its perimeter “CENTER FOR HELLENIC STUDIES” (in Greek) and on the lower hemisphere “HARVARD UNIVERSITY” (the word “University” in Greek). Two logos are placed in the middle. On the upper segment it has CHS US’s logo, the icon of the lighthouse of Alexandria, and right below the emblematic logo of Harvard University, with the crimson shield containing the Latin motto “VE-RI-TAS”, on three open books. The two logos are separated by the words “CENTER FOR HELLENIC STUDIES HARVARD UNIVERSITY” written in three lines.
