Cooperation with local authorities, organizations and the broader community is an important part of the Center's operation. CHS Greece nurtures the development of such partnerships to generate and/or support new activities and offer opportunities to the local educational community and the wider public.
CHS Greece even before its official inauguration in 2008 had developed excellent communication and ongoing cooperation with the Municipality of Nafplio and other local authorities. Since then and up until today, both CHS and the Municipality continue and contribute to a productive and multilevel cooperation that includes but is not limited to events, conferences, important anniversaries, publications, exhibitions, the annual Nafplio Marathon, and so on.
Apart from the very important collaboration with the Municipality of Nafplio, CHS Greece has also worked together on various occasions and for a number of initiatives, with all the Municipalities of the Argolis (Municipality of Argos-Mycenae, of Epidavros, and of Ermionida), as well as the regional government of the Peloponnese, the Directorates of Primary and Secondary Education of Argolis, and other local organizations, like the Peloponnesian Folklore Foundation, the Annex of the National Gallery in Nafplio, the Nafplio State Archives, etc.
A special reference should be made to the multiyear collaboration of the Center with the Argolis Association of Philologists (Greek acronym: ΣΦΑ). This collaboration with the dynamic and very active local Association of Philologists has led to a number of joint events, jointly supported workshops, conferences, and other activities aiming to inform, and further educate the philological and broader educational communities in the region.
