CHS Greece as a Harvard Global Office

The Center for Hellenic Studies in Greece (CHS Greece) serves the core mission of its metropolitan Center in Washington, DC, by organizing, co-organizing, and supporting initiatives that focus on and/or include the fields of Humanities and Social Sciences.

At the same time, CHS Greece is a Harvard global office. It operates as part of Harvard's international network, serving as a vital link connecting Harvard faculty and students with local academic institutions, government organizations, businesses, and communities in its host country and region. Our programs and events categories, along with our calendar, offer insight into the Harvard departments, global offices, and other units, as well as the local entities with which we currently work or have worked over the years.

The Center in Greece actively facilitates this connection between Harvard and Greece reciprocally, not solely through programs and initiatives within the country, but also through its consistent presence in Cambridge, MA, and various initiatives organized on campus.

CHS Greece's dedication to operating as a University interdisciplinary hub abroad reinforces the bond between the Harvard community and the world, and unites the humanistic pursuits of its twin institution, CHS in Washington, DC (CHS US), with the homeland of Hellenism.
