Since 2011 the Center has enabled undergraduates from the Department of Theatre Studies of the University of the Peloponnese (UoP) to pursue their internships (a department requirement) in the Digital Library of the Iatrou Building. Interns work with their department supervisors and CHS Greece staff in carrying out thesis research and other course projects. Students also prepare bibliographies, which are made available to fellow students and professors for teaching and research in the department.
CHS Greece has developed a continuous and evolving cooperation with the University of the Peloponnese and especially the Department of Theatre Studies of the University, which is based in Nafplio, aiming to support both institutions' educational and cultural activities.
Throughout the years, faculty from the local Department, as well as from the newly founded Department of Performing and Digital Arts in Nafplio, have been holding sessions of their class in "Research methodology" at the Center, also attending sessions of the Digital Library Program developed especially for their field of study and participant undergraduates. CHS Greece and the Department of Theatre Studies in Nafplio have worked together on a number of events, performances (e.g. CHS Greece Sappho fest in 2010), and lectures.
Beginning in the fall of 2019, and following a cooperation agreement between the two institutions, the Department of Theatre Studies, University of the Peloponnese, added a new component to its study curriculum: the 29 playwritings, the outcome of CHS's 2017–2018 Playwriting workshop, will be used in whole or in part, in the context of the Department’s courses, for the undergraduate students’ education and training in acting and directing. The undergraduate students, under the guidance of the Department’s Faculty prepare performances, most of them presented in public.
Additionally, students from both Nafplio-based departments of the University of the Peloponnese, are regular users of the Center's digital library and study rooms.
