CHS and the Harvard Staff Art Show

In 2020, the Office of the Dean of Arts and Humanities at Harvard University introduced a distinctive initiative aimed at celebrating the creative endeavors of the University's staff through online galleries, local shows, and various artistic events held throughout the campus.

The Staff Art Show, now in partnership with Harvard Human Resources, has grown consistently over time to showcase hundreds of artworks contributed by staff members from different departments and offices. CHS Greece has been actively engaged in the initiative since its inception, with Mina Tsentourou, a staff member of CHS Greece, serving on the Show's Steering Committee. Additionally, several colleagues from CHS have shared their creations, contributing to the diverse artistic spectrum of the Show.

In the year 2024, the virtual launch party for the Show took place on February 7, featuring an impressive collection of over 400 artworks by 240 artists from across the University. Among the participating works are those of Evan Katsarelis from CHS Greece and of Zoie Lafis and Olivia Henderson from CHS US. The Staff Art Show continues to be a platform for the University's staff to showcase their creativity to both the local Cambridge community and the wider world.
