The program included interactive presentations as well as student workshops. CHS GR was instrumental to the organization of the event, which again proved a success. CHS hosted a two-day scientific workshop on current developments in obesity and diabetes. The workshop was organized by Christos Mantzoros, a native of Nafplio and Professor of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Harvard Medical School. The event was held in collaboration with the Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens and the CHS. Lectures and activities related to the interns’ field of study were introduced; interns met with Kenny Morrell, Nicolas Prevelakis, Katerina Flaka (head of EURES in Greece) and all supervisors. CHS GR’s new collaborations with academic departments from throughout Greece link the interns’ field of study more closely with the internships.
