Organized by the Center for Hellenic Studies in Washington, DC, Harvard University (CHS US), the International Olympic Academy (IOA), CHS Greece, and the Region of Western Greece, this year's Symposium is entitled "Female Athletes, Women's Sport, and the Olympic Experience" (11-14 July 2023, Olympia, Greece). It brings together scholars from around the world and students from Greece and Cyprus to focus on the role of women in sports and the Olympics and its evolution from antiquity to the modern world.

It is addressed –free of charge– to 40 undergraduate and postgraduate (masters and PhD) students from a list of eligible departments in Greece and Cyprus.
