CHS Greece continues to support Greek Universities by hosting their programs at the Center's facilities in Nafplio.
Coastal Domains is a multiyear interdisciplinary, independent design research at the University of Patras focusing on the coastal territories of the Northeastern Mediterranean. Since the spring of 2016, it has explored territorial, geographical, morphological, social, economic, and ecological conditions, and transformations of various urbanized, infrastructural, and wetland coastal contexts as domains, as framed territories, projecting collaborative new ways of understanding, recording, envisioning, and governing our shared Mediterranean coast. During spring semester 2023-24, through nine case studies on the Coast of Argolis, the fifteen researchers explore, record, assess, and envision sustainable futures with the potential to create a more adaptive and sustainable coast in projection to tomorrow's resiliency challenges.
This will be the second time that CHS Greece will host Coastal Domains after April 2018.
