Harvard’s Worldwide Week 2024

Harvard University’s Office of the Vice Provost for International Affairs successfully organized its annual Worldwide Week from October 5 to 12, 2024. This initiative provides a unique opportunity for Schools, departments, and research centers to showcase the remarkable breadth of the University's global engagement. Yet more than the showcase, this annual celebration brings together Directors of Harvard's Global Offices, allowing them to reconnect on campus, exchange updates, engage with experts on critical topics, and immerse themselves in the University’s dynamic student community. It also serves as a platform to explore ongoing and potential collaborations with colleagues from across the University.

CHS Greece, represented by Managing Director Christos Giannopoulos, participated actively in the week’s events, including the annual Summit, the inaugural Information Table, and several gatherings with Directors of Harvard’s Global Offices. These meetings convey the spirit of the University’s motto, “One Harvard, One World,” setting the tone for the work done by Harvard’s “embassies” worldwide. A key update from this year’s meetings is the renewal of the Global Communications Committee, following a successful inaugural year, with Christos Giannopoulos serving once again as its Chair.

Worldwide Week is a time of intense yet rewarding engagement, driving Harvard’s global outreach and strengthening connections across the University. Our sincere thanks go to the Office of the Vice Provost for International Affairs and to our global counterparts for the valuable meetings, mutual support, and ongoing collaboration.
