A week after 2020's Worldwide Week at Harvard
During the 4th annual Worldwide week at Harvard more than 50 virtual academic and cultural events with global or international themes were organized by various Schools, research centers, global offices, departments, and student organizations, including the events of the unique and unprecedented 24 Hours of Harvard (24hH).
CHS Greece proudly hosted 4 unique events: Citizenship in the 21st century panel discussion, Channels of Expression dance event, and #Afterlockdown animated film-premiere & Film-Discussion.
Our gratitude goes to all faculty members, students, artists, performers, and other professionals who participated in our events!
Sincere thanks to the Office of the Vice Provost for International Affairs, and Vice Provost Mark Elliott, Todd Washburn, Bailey Thaxton Payne, and Alexandria King-Close for their continuous support in the global offices’ work, as well as the organization of the Worldwide Week and its 24hH centerpiece.
Thank you also to the viewers of our events and to our community of friends who promoted them in their social and other media.
Finally, we could not be more grateful to our colleagues from other global offices, area centers, and departments of the University, who joined forces with us in our ambitious yet very rewarding series of events:
- the Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies
- the Committee on Degrees in Social Studies
- the Tunisia Office of the Center for Middle Eastern Studies
- the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies Brazil Office
- the Lakshmi Mittal and Family South Asia Institute New Delhi Office
- and our twin Center for Hellenic Studies in the USA
