Research topic during fellowship: The Reception of the Philhellenic Movement of 1897 by the Daily Press and Literature

Chrysa Theologou studied at the Department of Greek Philology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece). From the same Department, she received a Master’s degree in Modern Greek Literature, with the grade "Excellent." In 2022, she was awarded a Doctorate in the Department of Philology, Faculty of Philosophy, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (title of doctoral thesis: "The book reviews of Nea Hestia magazine, 1927–1987"). She has worked as a research associate at the Centre for the Greek Language during the period 2012–2015, and she was a lecturer at the Department of Philology of the University of Ioannina in the framework of the program "Acquisition of Academic Experience for young researchers holding a PhD" during the academic year 2022–2023. The courses she taught were "Currents—Texts and Authors (1880–1930)," "Representations of Gender in Modern Greek Literature (19th–20th century)," and "Aspects of Realism in Modern Greek Prose (19th–20th century)." She has participated in numerous scientific conferences and workshops in Greece and abroad, and her articles have been published in scientific journals.
