CHS Greece collaborates with the Argolis Association of Philologists for an event dedicated to poet T.S. Eliot (Thomas Stearns Eliot) on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 6pm, which will be live-streamed for the public. The event will be in Greek.

Guest speakers are Angeliki Spiropoulou, professor of Modern European Literature and Theory and chair of the Theatre Studies Department, University of the Peloponnese, and Christina Dokou, assistant professor of American Literature and Culture at the Department of English Language and Literature, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. During the event, the two speakers will address the notion of classical in Eliot's work and Modernism, and the participation of myth in Eliot's work respectively.

The event is held on the occasion of 100 years since the first edition of the poem "The Waste Land".
