Synopsis
Following the successful synergy initiated in 2023 and further expanded in 2024, the interinstitutional MA program "Animal Welfare, Ethics and the Law" will once again return to CHS Greece in 2025. Over 40 students will participate in an intensive academic visit in Nafplio, featuring sessions with faculty from NKUA and Harvard, as well as presentations about the Center's activities.
Faculty members and administrators, Pablo Perez Castello, Macarena Montes Franceschini, and George Papapadimitriou, will deliver talks on topics ranging from the philosophy of perception and animal personhood to the complexities of legal hunting and poaching.
