Xenophon Paparrigopoulos is a lawyer, a member of the Scientific Service of the Hellenic Parliament and an Associate Professor of Law and Philosophy at the University of the Peloponnese. Prof. Paparrigopoulos studied law in Athens and he subsequently pursued graduate studies at the Harvard Law School, where he obtained an LL.M. (1981) and an S.J.D. (1984) degree. He has served as President of the Harvard Club of Greece over many years and has been a member of the “Events Series” Academic Committee of the CHS over the past five years. He is the author of several books and a number of articles where he discusses issues of human rights, the rule of law and legal philosophy.
