Georgia Dimopoulou
Georgia serves as Programs and Events Assistant at CHS Greece. In her role, she supports the coordination and implementation of CHS programs, including fellowships and research opportunities, Harvard student programs, and collaborations with universities and institutions in Greece and abroad.
Her academic background is in Classics, with a BA from the University of Patras, where she focused on ancient philosophy as well as epic and lyric poetry. She is currently pursuing an MSc in Digital Marketing, reflecting her varied interests that range from classical studies to contemporary fields of communication and media. Georgia is also an alumna of the Harvard Summer School 2024, completing the program with a full scholarship.
Professionally, she has worked in diverse roles, including Coordinator at the "Hellenic Diaspora Foundation", where she curated exhibitions, guided tours, and managed cultural projects. She has also worked as a copywriter, further developing her skills in storytelling and content creation, and in sales at the OTE Group, gaining experience in customer engagement and communication.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Georgia is passionate about the arts. She paints, writes creatively, and has pursued music studies in piano and voice, alongside a long-standing interest in dance. Her interdisciplinary background reflects her commitment to bringing together culture, history, and creativity in meaningful ways.
