Christos Giannopoulos

Christos has been actively engaged with Harvard activities in Greece since 2003, and he became a full-time member of the CHS team in 2008. He is monitoring the entire operation of the CHS in Greece; supporting the development of programs in collaboration with other Harvard and non-Harvard units and organizations; connecting the operation of CHS Greece with that of CHS US; sustaining and expanding CHS Greece’s collaboration with the University and other global offices; and supporting the Center’s networks and synergies in Greece and Europe.
He holds a Ph.D. in Educational Management from the University of Ioannina, Greece. Ηe is also a Harvard Summer School (HSS) graduate; he spent the 2017 – 2018 academic year in the US as a Harvard-CHS post-doctoral Fellow in residence.
Among other positions, he has worked for many years as coordinator of the HSS in Greece; as administrator and instructor in various programs and as a tenured employee at the University of Ioannina; and as a member of the Hellenic Element and instructor of the Greek Primary School at the NATO Headquarters in Naples, Italy.
