CHS Greece and CHS US happily support the international online conference "The Virgin Mary Beyond Borders" (March 9-12, 2022). It is organized by the Institute for Historical Research, National Hellenic Research Foundation, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Center for Hellenic Studies, Simon Fraser University, the Oxford Centre for Byzantine Research, Oxford University, and the CHS Greece & US, and has Ainos Cultural Society as its Project Manager. The conference presents papers on various topics related to the cult of the Virgin, including the emergence of her cult in the Eastern Mediterranean, aspects of its development, as well as local traditions associated with Mary.
