Call to apply for the B&E Goulandris Foundation Museum Internship

Permanent Exhibition at the 1st floor of the B&E Goulandris Foundation Museum in Athens.

The Center for Hellenic Studies in Greece, Harvard University and the Basil & Elise (B&E) Goulandris Foundation invite Harvard graduate students from the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences to apply for one summer internship position in the context of the B&E Goulandris Foundation Museum Internship program which will run remotely from June 27 to July 31, 2021 (five weeks).

This art education internship provides the opportunity to research and implement new strategies that will target a wider audience through the Museum’s digital ecosystem, by creating a project framework and formulating a comprehensive plan. The intern will be presented with the option to work on one of the two following projects: a) new opportunities for inclusive teaching practices for a wider audience around any issue affecting accessibility, b) a virtual tour increasing audience engagement and ensuring long-term relevance and sustainability of the collection. A stipend of €1200 will be provided to the successful participant.

Any Harvard Graduate student with the following academic backgrounds and interests are eligible to apply: Art History, Cultural/Heritage Management, Museum Studies, Digital Humanities.
