Research topic during fellowship: The institutional environment of the National Olympic Academies and their dependence on resources.

Paraskevi (Evi) Salepi is a few months before the defense of her thesis in the Department of Sports Organization and Management of the University of the Peloponnese. In addition, she is working on two papers for publication in international journals that will be indexed either with the Scopus citation database, the EBSCO Information Services or the Web of Science. She received her MSc in Sport and Leisure Management from Loughborough University, UK and straight after she worked for ten years in various posts in the sport field with specialization in the domain of sport management/marketing. Since 2015 she has devoted her attention to further progressing her academic qualifications after a scholarship awarded for PhD studies from the University of the Peloponnese. She was a holder of the prestigious International Olympic Committee's research grants both in 2002 (as postgraduate student) and in the "2014 PhD Students Research Grant Programme". Her research interests include strategic planning, governance and institutional environment of sports and education-aligned organizations.
