Synopsis

The Institute of Historical Research (IHR) of the National Hellenic Research Foundation (NHRF) organizes the one-day conference "Instructional Methods in Context: Teaching, Learning and Crafting in the Eastern Mediterranean during the Late Middle-Ages (13th-15th Centuries)” which is hosted and supported by CHS Greece. The conference focuses on scientific and humanistic issues surrounding mastery, apprenticeship, and the practice of know-how in the Eastern Mediterranean during the medieval era. Renowned professors and scholars from Greece and international universities, including a member of the CHS fellows community whose participation is funded by CHS Greece, will contribute, ensuring a truly interdisciplinary and global dialogue.
