The lecture is open to all and it is in English. This lecture is co-sponsored by the University of the Peloponnese, Department of Theatre Studies, and is part of a series funded by the Niarchos Foundation and organised by the Fulbright Foundation in Greece on the occasion of its 60th birthday.

The lecture series, a truly stimulating series of talks covering widely different periods, places and subjects, introduced the local community and the general public to the CHS's kosmos of friends, namely academics and other specialists wishing to discuss some aspect of Hellenic history and culture, including literature, archaeology, architecture, etc. After each lecture, a reception followed in the Fellows Room.
