With Athens as the program's focal point, the program provided students with access to high-quality internships and an immersive experience that included family stays, utilization of public transportation, and personal exploration. The educational component featured courses on Modern Greece and Elementary Modern Greek through online open-access resources. Excursions to Mycenae, Tiryns, museum and other cultural visits, walking tours, and meetings with distinguished historians, academics, artists, and educators were meticulously organized to deepen students' appreciation of Greek history and culture and enhance the overall experience. In a brief period, the CHS Summer Internship Program has evolved into a highly sought-after opportunity, effectively connecting Harvard students with distinctive professional experiences in Greece, fostering cultural exchange, and showcasing a modern and vibrant image of Greece to Harvard's diverse student body.
