HSSP introduces students to the foundations of the social sciences and covers such topics as the different types of human societies, the factors that lead to social change, the relationship between morality and politics, and the role of economics, gender, and religion in today’s world. The participants experience an American college-level seminar course, relying heavily on student participation, discussion, writing assignments, independent research, and final presentations. HSSP 2022 will be held in Nafplio. If conditions will not allow the Program's in situ realization, the internship will take place via Zoom.
