The seminar is part of the graduate program "Art - Cultural Heritage - Development Policies" of the Hellenic Open University (H.O.U.) which aims to explore a network of selected Greek cities, among which Nafplio, as the outcome of their cultural and archaeological history, natural landscape and modern design. Regarding the seminar in Nafplio, a number of theoretical (archaeological, architectural, aesthetic and design-related) introductions and analyses will be matched by guided visits to the city center and fortresses, to the Nafplio archaeological museum, as well as to Mycenae and its museum. At the end of the seminar, a closing session will include conclusions and suggestions for the urban future of Nafplio. Approximately 20 H.O.U. graduate students along with the University's teaching staff will visit CHS Greece to use its facilities for their presentations and discussions, as well as the digital library.
