Synopsis of the presentation:

On March 4, Nikos Tsivikis gave a presentation on "An Early End to Antiquity in Roman Provincial Greece: Pagans and Christians in the Wake of the AD 365 Earthquake in Messene" as part of the spring series of fellows' talks. Nikos is Researcher in the Academy of Athens and Institute of Mediterranean Studies in Rethymno, and a CHS Early Career Fellow in Hellenic Studies in Greece 2020–2021. His research topic during his fellowship has the same title as his presentation. The series of talks is open to CHS fellows and affiliates.
