Dr. Christina Chatzivasileiou is co-working with both national and private stages and casts, while she has represented Greece in Union des Théâtres de l' Europe (2016) and in 50th Berlin Theatertreffen (2013). In parallel, she has been taking part with academic announcements in a wide length of conferences and symposiums towards theatre, mostly in UK. Her recent directing credits include: The Reunification of The Two Koreas, Coriolanus, Sotiria Is My Name, The Beauty Queen of Leenane, The Cherry Orchard and many more. Ηer PhD thesis "Contemporary British dramaturgy: In-Yer-Face Theatre: a social topography reading of the '90's" has just been published by EPIKENTRO PUPLICATIONS (2020), while her awarded staged play Tsiklidan (co-written with Stella Vogiatzoglou) by KEDROS publications.
She teaches at the School of Drama of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
