In his role as Associate Director of Academic and Research Programs in Greece, he manages the Harvard CHS fellowships programs and research opportunities, the Harvard student programs (seminar-based programs, internships, travel study programs, etc.), the visiting programs and collaborations with other universities and institutions both in Greece and internationally. He is also responsible for events organized or hosted by CHS Greece. Evan's academic background is firmly rooted in the Classics, having completed his PhD at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, an MA at University College London (supported by a scholarship from the Onassis Foundation), and a BA from the University of Patras. Alongside his extensive career in educational management, he remains actively engaged in research, presenting and publishing in the fields of Classical Studies with a particular focus on ancient Greek philosophy and drama. In addition, he is a Harvard Summer School graduate of 2012, completing the program with a full scholarship, and was appointed as a Harvard CHS Fellow in Hellenic Studies in residence in 2022.
