Vanessa Zervogianni

Vanessa Zervogianni is a User Experience (UX) researcher and Philologist with a particular interest in technology-based learning. She joined CHS Greece in April 2021

She completed her undergraduate studies in Greek Philology and Linguistics at the University of Athens (first-class honors degree) and her postgraduate studies in Informatics at the University of Edinburgh. She has also studied Theater and Special Needs Education and has been teaching Greek as a foreign language for several years. Previously, she was a Research and Education coordinator at the department of Clinical Sciences of the University of Edinburgh, UK and the Editor-in-Chief of the beta-project.org website. She has also been a Research Fellow in the Institute for Intelligent Systems and Robotics at Sorbonne University, Paris and a visiting fellow in the Department of Psychology at the University of Bath, England.

She is a foreign language enthusiast speaking French, Portuguese and German on top of English and Greek. In her free time, she reads foreign literature, practices yoga and enjoys performances in open-air Greek theatres. Her personal research interests include multilingualism in older people, technology evaluation frameworks, and sustainable development.
