The CHS Summer Internship Program in Greece marked its eleventh year. It was restructured in summer 2015; the program offered in 2016 internships closely linked to the academic studies and professional development of the participants.
Interns worked with Kenny Morrell, Nicolas Prevelakis, Nicole Newendorp, and all supervisors. There was a wide variety of educational activities and lectures relevant to the interns’ field of study in addition to extra-curricular activities, including a two-day excursion to Athens and one-day trips to Mycenae, Epidaurus, and the Franchthi cave in Kranidi. Greek interns also connected via Skype with Nicholas Tourides, Educational Advisor and American Program Coordinator for the Fulbright Foundation in Greece, who informed them on graduate academic programs in the US.
