This is the workshop’s second cycle, and its main goal is to expand Greek dramaturgy further and to support new playwrights. It is addressed to young writers, who want to develop their skills in playwriting, focusing on the art of theatrical writing. The topic of the workshop focuses on the theatrical discourse of the 200th anniversary of the 1821 Greek War of Independence, and the personal objects which are connected with the concept of history and rebellion in general; and the questions generated by these objects in relation to Greece, 200 years ago and today. The workshop is open to a limited number of participants and application is required.

See the playwriting workshop's description on our website.
