 

#  Playing Bacchae – A student competition: Extension of deadline

The [Out of Chaos theater](https://www.out-of-chaos.co.uk/) in the context of the [Reading Greek Tragedy Online](https://chs.harvard.edu/programs/reading-greek-tragedy-online/) project, with the support of CHS US &amp; Greece and the Department of Theatre Studies, School of Fine Arts, University of the Peloponnese introduces the Greek leg of the “Playing Bacchae” competition! The competition is addressed to undergraduate students from Greek Universities' Departments of Theatre Studies, and theater schools, as well as students from Greek high schools, inviting them to experiment with **Euripides's tragedy Bacchae**. Interested students should record and submit to the organizers a scene from the famous tragedy by **February 15, 2023**.
