 

#  Announcing the results of the student competition Playing Bacchae

 The [Out of Chaos theater](https://www.out-of-chaos.co.uk/) in the context of the [Reading Greek Tragedy Online](https://chs.harvard.edu/programs/reading-greek-tragedy-online/) project, with the support of CHS US &amp; Greece and the Department of Theatre Studies, School of Fine Arts, University of the Peloponnese implemented the [Greek leg of the “Playing Bacchae” competition](https://www.out-of-chaos.co.uk/playingbacchaegreece). The competition invited undergraduate students from Greek Universities' Departments of Theatre Studies, and theater schools, as well as students from Greek high schools, to experiment, perform (or recite) scenes from **Euripides's tragedy Bacchae**, record their interpretation of a scene (or more) from the famous tragedy and submit it to participate.

 CHS Greece extends its heartfelt congratulations to the winners of the student competition, as well as all the student groups that submitted entries.
