#  Pre-doctoral Fellowships in Hellenic Studies 2026-2027: Call for applications until February 8, 2026

## Application deadline: Sunday, February 8, 2026

CHS grants up to 3 fellowships per year to Ph.D. candidates from Greek universities, regardless of their faculty of enrollment, who conduct research on topics related to ancient Greek civilization. The duration of each fellowship is 12 months (July–June), during which fellows complete a semester-long (July–December) research project of their own choice. Throughout the appointment, and especially during its second half, fellows are invited to participate in various CHS activities to share their findings and collaborate with other fellows and members of the CHS community.

The fellowship award includes year-long access to Harvard University's online databases and resources, a 10-day educational trip to CHS in Washington DC, invitations to present and publish the outcomes of the research project and attend meetings, as well as a research fund of €3000. Fellows will receive academic support and mentorship during the fellowship appointment by the academic committee of the program.
