#  Visit of the Athens Columbia Global Center team to CHS Greece

*(From the left:) Stefanos Gandolfo, Christos Giannopoulos, Katerina Schinochoriti, Indre Dauciunaite, Maryli Poulis, Matina Goga*On Friday, February 21, we had the pleasure of welcoming the team from the new [global center of Columbia University in Greece](https://globalcenters.columbia.edu/athens) to our facilities in Nafplio. Stefanos Gandolfo, Director, Maryli Poulis, Program Officer, and Indre Dauciunaite, Administrative Coordinator, were given a tour of our Center and met with our team's members, Christos Giannopoulos, Katerina Schinochoriti, Matina Goga, and Fani Kapetaniou, who had the opportunity to share their experiences from the long-standing operation of the Harvard office in Greece. Additionally, issues of common interest and future collaboration prospects were discussed.

We wish Columbia success in its efforts and in any related initiatives aimed at building bridges between U.S. and Greek educational communities.
