Kind courtesy of the Special Secretariat of Foresight, Presidency of the Government, Hellenic Republic.* ## Application deadline: Wednesday, March 5, 2025 The Center for Hellenic Studies offers one fellowship to a postdoctoral researcher from any discipline to conduct original research on topics related to AI Ethics over a period of 12 months (July - June). This fellowship focuses on examining the ethical, societal, and philosophical implications of artificial intelligence as it continues to evolve and integrate into various aspects of everyday life. The fellowship award includes year-long access to Harvard University's online databases and resources, a 10-day educational trip to CHS in Washington DC, invitations to present and publish the outcomes of the research project and attend meetings, as well as a stipend of $12,000 (USD). The fellow will receive academic support and mentorship during the fellowship appointment by the academic committee of the program. This fellowship underscores CHS's commitment to collaborating with authorities and organizations in Greece and supporting AI Ethics related initiatives in the country and abroad, aiming to strengthen international efforts to develop a common understanding and discussion on relevant issues, as well as highlight the central role that Greece can play in this timely and significant field of research and study.
