Research topic during fellowship: *Envisioning Ethical Artificial Intelligence through Commons-based Open Design Principles*

Giannis Perperidis holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy of Technology from the Philosophy Department of the University of Ioannina, Greece. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow in AI Ethics at the Center for Hellenic Studies of Harvard University, and an adjunct lecturer in the History and Digital Humanities Department at the Ionian University, where he teaches courses on Philosophy of Technology, including Artificial Intelligence and Cyberspace. Dr. Perperidis has previously held postdoctoral research positions at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Panteion University, and Ionian University. His PhD was supported by a scholarship from the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (H.F.R.I.). His academic work has appeared in peer-reviewed journals such as *Technology in Society*, *Frontiers in Blockchain*, and *Philosophy and Technology*. He has contributed chapters to edited volumes in both Greek and English. In addition to his research, he translated Andrew Feenberg’s *Between Reason and Experience* into Greek (2022) and several essays for the volume *Philosophy of the Digital: An Introduction* (2024, Greek). Dr. Perperidis is the author of the book *Philosophy of Digital Technologies. From Andrew Feenberg to the Digital Commons* (in Greek, 2025). His areas of expertise include Philosophy of Technology, Philosophy of Artificial Intelligence, theories of digitality, and the political theory of the commons and digital commons.
