It fulfills the convening function of the Flagship Program 6 in Greece’s AI Transformation Blueprint and serves as the venue for an annual high-level global meeting on AI ethics and policy. The Lyceum Project welcomes globally recognized panelists with the support of academic, industrial, and other stakeholders.

The Lyceum Project 2025 is organized by the National Center for Scientific Research “Demokritos,” the World Human Forum, the Special Secretariat of Foresight in the Presidency of the Greek Government, and the Athens Conservatory. CHS is the affiliate of The Lyceum Project 2025, organizing and funding sessions such as the Young Scholars session and contributing to the planning and organization processes of other academic aspects of the event.

Established in 2024, The Lyceum Project starting by exploring the significant impacts of AI on society through an Aristotelian ethical lens, as detailed in the white paper by John Tasioulas, Director of Oxford’s Institute for Ethics in AI, and Stanford Professor Josiah Ober. In 2025, The Lyceum Project focuses on the critical issue of preparing children to flourish in the age of AI, equipping them not only with digital tools but also with education that fosters their development as active, informed citizens. The forum's discussions will revolve around Human Nature and AI, AI as Intelligent Tools, and Policy and Governance. The event will consist of a session featuring presentations by young scholars on related topics, as well as a session with panels on AI and Education, AI Design, and AI Governance.
