##  Synopsis of the presentation: 

 On February 18, Maria Nikolopoulou gave a presentation on "The Reception of American Literature in Greece in the Long 1960s and the Perception of Greece in the Poetry of the Beats" as part of the spring series of fellows' talks. Maria is a Laboratory and Teaching Staff member of the Department of Philology at the University of Athens and a CHS Fellow in Comparative Cultural Studies 2020-2021. Her research topic during her fellowship has the same title as her presentation. The series of talks is open to CHS fellows and affiliates.
