Synopsis:

The Municipality of Nafplio, DOPPAT, and the Basil Papantoniou Foundation co-organize events to honor the memory of the 100 years since the Asia Minor Catastrophe. CHS Greece, in support of the initiative, hosts an event on October 17 that includes two talks on the Nea Kios refugees settlement in Argolis. Virginia Matseli and Basil Dorovinis will speak on the first settlement of Asia Minor refugees in Nea Kios, Argolis, its Folklore Museum, and its historical memory.
