About the workshop

Overview

This new thematic area was introduced in 2019. The Epigraphy Workshop focuses on theoretical teaching and practical application with the scope to introduce epigraphy, its connection with other sciences, such as history and archeology, and its use in both research and educational settings. Participants from different educational backgrounds, educators, philologists, historians and archaeologists, students of philology and history & archeology have the opportunity to discuss about inscriptions, become acquainted with the science of epigraphy and expand their scientific interests.
