About the Museum

The Museum of Cycladic Art is a small, but very prestigious archaeological museum in the heart of Athens. Apart from the famous collection of Early Cycladic (3rd millennium BCΕ) figurines and marble vessels, it also holds a comprehensive assemblage of Ancient Greek art and one of the largest collections of Cypriot Antiquities outside Cyprus. The museum is particularly active in research and education and organizes major exhibitions of art and archaeology in collaboration with other institutions in Greece and abroad. It also runs several programs for interns.
