Through a series of lectures and meetings arranged by the CHS the program broadened the participants experience and exploration of ancient and modern Greece.
For an 8th year, the Center supported this important HAA initiative, which featured a number of special events in Nafplio, including a reception at the CHS on March 14, 2016. Gregory Nagy led the group of undergraduate and postgraduate students and alumni on the tour.
JTerm came to Greece for a third year. The team consisted of nine students (three from Harvard University) and a Harvard postgraduate (who served as a teaching assistant), the CHS programs coordinator, and Professors Gregory Nagy and Kenny Morrell. The group visited Crete, Nafplion, and Athens, focusing once again on the study of the Bronze Age.
