    Comparative Cultural Studies Program (CCSP) Alumni reunion

    Cambridge, MA, Harvard Department of the Classics

    Thirty-three Harvard students from programs since 2013 attended the event. Gregory Nagy and Nicolas Prevelakis welcomed the students; Harvard faculty and staff (Mark Schiefsky, Adrian Staehli, Cathy Coleman, Teresa Wu, and Daphne Maramaldi) also attended the reunion. Marina Cheilitsi (Coordinator of the Program) was also present and assisted in preparing the event. The reunion helped to strengthen the CHS’s ties with alumni, by whose word of mouth news of CHS programs reaches many prospective applicants.

    Harvard Alumni Association annual spring-break trip to Greece

    Mon Mar 16 (All day) to Mon Mar 30 (All day)

    Location: 

    Nafplio, Olympia, Delphi, and Athens

    For a seventh year the Center supported this important HAA initiative, which featured a number of special events in Nafplio, including a reception at the CHS. Gregory Nagy led the group of undergraduate and postgraduate students and alumni on the tour. Huntington Lambert, Dean of Continuing Education, participated in the trip and visited the Center, where he discussed study abroad programs in Greece.
