The supreme governing body of the Center is its General Assembly, which consists of regular and ex officio Partners, all of whom are members of Harvard University.

The management and arrangement of the Center's affairs, as well as all matters related to its goals and activities, and the formulation of its academic, research, and cultural policy, are exercised by its Administrators:

- [Maria Zoie Lafis](/administrators/maria-zoie-lafis "Maria Zoie Lafis"), Executive Director of the Center for Hellenic Studies (Washington, DC), Harvard University
- [Mark C. Elliott](/administrators/mark-c-elliott "Mark Elliott"), Vice Provost for International Affairs, Mark Schwartz Professor of Chinese and Inner Asian History, Harvard University

A dedicated team of colleagues manages the Center's daily operations and leads the design and implementation of its programs and other short- and long-term activities in Greece, the United States, and elsewhere, as these are developed on the basis of the mission of Harvard University and the Center and are expressed through the directions of its General Assembly and Administrators.
